Description
VTA BOV's ventileren naar de atmosfeer om het kenmerkende turbo-afblaasgeluid te maken, waarbij de DV+ de lucht recirculeert om deze stil te houden. Elke klep in het VTA-assortiment is speciaal ontworpen voor de toepassingen waarvoor we ze vermelden, waardoor de beste pasvorm en prestaties worden gegarandeerd . Het grootste deel van het VTA-assortiment is ontworpen voor gebruik op auto's met fabriekswisselkleppen van het magneettype, en in die gevallen behoudt de VTA-kit de solenoïde- en ECU-bediening. Net als de DV+ vervangt hij echter de zwakke interne onderdelen van de fabriekskleppen om sterkte en betrouwbaarheid te garanderen, vooral bij toepassingen met hoge boost. Andere versies van de VTA zijn ontworpen voor gebruik op auto's die niet over een in de fabriek gemonteerde omschakelklep beschikken. ,, Voertuigfabrikanten hebben de lastige omschakelklep van het magneettype uit sommige nieuwere modellen verwijderd, maar dit leidt tot turbocompressoren die op de lange termijn belastend kunnen zijn voor de turbo. De VTA-kleppen voor deze auto's zijn ontworpen om de functie van een omstel-/afblaasklep opnieuw te introduceren om de turbo op de lange termijn te helpen beschermen en ook voor een afblaasgeluid te zorgen.
