Een goed ontworpen uitlaatsysteem is van cruciaal belang voor de motorprestaties. Het 60 mm MegaPower-uitlaatsysteem van Skunk2 voor de 97-01 Prelude is met dit in gedachten ontwikkeld en is gebaseerd op meer dan 15 jaar race-ervaring. MegaPower cat-back-systemen zijn bewezen op een testbank voor maximaal vermogen en zijn gemaakt van T-304 roestvrij staal, zijn robotachtig TIG-gelast en zijn voorzien van CNC-doornbochten voor een nauwkeurige pasvorm. Met de Japanse Super N1-stijl genereren MegaPower-uitlaatsystemen meer pk's door de luchtstroom en het motorvolume te optimaliseren via zorgvuldig geselecteerde, toepassingsspecifieke buislengtes en -diameters en verhoogde golfvangende effecten voor meer pk's. CNC-doornbuigen zorgt voor een constante buisdiameter over de hele bocht, wat resulteert in een nauwkeurige montage en een verbeterde uitlaatgasstroom. Elk systeem is uitgerust met een resonator, inclusief roestvrijstalen flenzen en is afgewerkt met een rechte race-uitlaatdemper met lage restricties voor een ononderbroken doorstroming. Elke volledig gepolijste uitlaatdemper is gekoppeld aan een gepolijste punt van 110 mm met zijn eigen zuurgeëtste MegaPower-badge en geserialiseerd naamplaatje. Een verwijderbare Skunk2-geluiddemper en alle benodigde hardware zijn ook inbegrepen. De MegaPower Exhaust-reeks van Skunk2 is gebaseerd op dezelfde systemen die we op maat hebben gebouwd voor onze wegrace- en tijdaanvalvoertuigen. MegaPower-uitlaatsystemen bieden meer prestaties, betere bouwkwaliteit en het ultieme geluid in vergelijking met vergelijkbaar geprijsde systemen.
