The Audi R8 red-top is probably the most famous ignition coil in tuning - the pencil coil Audi specified for the R8 V8 and V10, now found far beyond VAG engine bays. Tuners fit them to everything: turbocharged 1.8T and 2.0 TFSI builds, Nissan Skyline RB and SR conversions, Toyota JZ swaps, Honda builds, rotaries, kit cars - anywhere a compact, powerful smart coil is wanted.
